IMPACT NFT ALLIANCE, PROJECT ARK, SOVEREIGN ART FOUNDATION AND SOHO HOUSE DEBUT HONG KONG’S FIRST IMPACT NFT EXHIBITION SUPPORTING GLOBAL CAUSES
ImpactNFT Alliance, in partnership with Project Ark and Sovereign Art Foundation, and supported by MANTRA DAO, is curating an online and offline ImpactNFT exhibition at Soho House Hong Kong running from October 15–24, 2021. Attendees ranging from NFT newbies to seasoned collectors will have the unique opportunity to experience Hong Kong’s first-ever live ImpactNFT display in the gallery-style exhibition as well as online in a Metaverse space. Global impact projects built around the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals will be on display and available for purchase in support of their creators and the causes they care about.
ImpactNFTs are not only revolutionizing the way that corporations can meet their sustainability goals. They’re transforming the lives of people in marginalized communities across the world and, in some cases, literally shaping the landscape of the future. Priceless works of art that have been lost or destroyed as collateral damage of wars waged in the cradle of civilization are being preserved for future generations. ImpactNFTs are, among many things, currently being used to clean up World War II-era munitions that have been poisoning our oceans, to repopulate and resurrect devastated ecosystems, and to fund the early detection and prevention of cancer.
The exhibition showcases Impact NFTs from Sovereign Art Foundation, Earth.Org, Project Ark’s Genesis Drop as well as SnarkySharkz and Purple Penguin. Also on display are amazing artwork by VintageMozart in support of Nashulai Maassai Conservancy in East Africa, and by Mexican artists championing indigenous groups. There will also be a preview of the South China Morning Post’s upcoming NFT auction in aid of Operation Santa Claus that includes dazzling works by four female artists and an NFT of historical importance by Frog King, the Hong Kong legend renowned for his live performances.
Anti-wildlife trafficking group Break The Chain will provide augmented reality (AR) experiences onsite with a parallel Metaverse demonstration curated by The Nemesis.
