Simplex and Project Ark Join Forces to Enable Funding of Environmental Conservation Through ImpactNFT Purchases
Simplex, a Nuvei company and the leading fiat infrastructure for digital assets globally, has partnered with Project Ark, a blockchain-powered platform that supports animal and environmental conservation projects by creating and selling ImpactNFT collectibles. Thanks to Simplex, users will be able to purchase these NFTs directly without the need to leave the dedicated NFT platform.
The purchase of Project Ark’s collectible ImpactNFTs aims to ensure transparent and guaranteed transactions to associations and NGOs who work towards environmental protection and carbon offsetting, creating a blockchain-based decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to help protect the environment.
Thanks to its partnership with Simplex, users will be able to buy Project Ark’s NFTs directly from the marketplace, without needing to top up external compatible wallets and connecting them to the platform.
Given the recent environmental scrutiny of blockchain-based projects, it is fundamental for Simplex to offset every blockchain transaction’s carbon footprint through impactful collaborations with platforms such as Project Ark. Joining initiatives to offset carbon emissions and foster climate change education will ultimately align Simplex with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
